FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

537 Broadview will be a 12-unit apartment site where tenants will enter into a standard landlord-tenant lease agreement with Na-Me-Res.

The goal is to provide deeply affordable housing that supports residents in living independently and thriving as members of the community.

Indigenous men seeking stability and independence, offering them a safe and supportive place to live.

Residents are chosen through a standardized internal process to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for affordable housing.

While this is a standard landlord-tenant arrangement, support workers will assist clients to help ensure successful tenancy, similar to other Na-Me-Res housing projects.

In cooperation with Heritage Toronto, we are ensuring that the look and structure of the building align seamlessly with the existing architecture and historical elements of the area. By remaining consistent with the architectural style and aesthetic of the neighbourhood, we aim to preserve its charm and maintain its cohesive identity.
